Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of V7 Check. V7 Check is operated by Dovanos magija MB, Liusiu g. 12, Valu k., LT-21423, Lithuania ("we", "us" or "our"). When the app asks you to agree to these Terms, selecting the agreement action confirms that you accept this version. The Privacy Policy explains how V7 Check handles personal data; it is not part of a purchase contract.

Using V7 Check

V7 Check helps people read product-label information, compare it with product rules and contribute corrections. It is for general information only. Always check the physical package you intend to buy: ingredients, allergens, nutrition values, recipes and regional formulations can change, and product data or automated extraction can be incomplete or wrong.

V7 Check is not medical advice, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a condition, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on it alone for an allergy, medical condition or other safety-critical decision.

A profile match, green indicator, recommendation or absence of a warning means only that the available product data were compared with selected rules. It is not a guarantee of safety, absence of allergens or cross-contamination, nutritional suitability, or compliance with a medical or religious requirement. Check the current package, including allergen and "may contain" warnings. If information is missing, conflicting or unclear, do not infer that a product is safe; consult the manufacturer or a qualified healthcare professional as appropriate.

Profiles described as "official", featured or curated are app-provided rule sets, not medical approval, independent testing or dietary or religious certification. User-shared profiles are created by users and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The app does not authenticate certification marks or replace the certifier's own information.

You must use the service lawfully and must not misuse, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the app, accounts, data or backend systems. Reverse engineering is prohibited only to the extent that applicable law permits that restriction.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

The service is not intended for children under 13. You must also have the legal capacity to accept these Terms and make any purchase, or have the authorization of a parent or guardian where local law permits it. A store age rating does not replace those requirements.

Product photos, corrections and reports

If you submit photos, corrections or reports, you confirm that you have the right to submit them, that they concern product packaging or product information, and that they do not violate law or another person's rights. Do not submit photos containing people, receipts, addresses or other unnecessary personal content.

You keep any rights you have in your submissions. To run and improve the shared product catalogue, you give V7 Check a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process with service providers, extract product facts from, adapt, display and distribute your submissions as part of the service. This lets us use a photo to read a label, show appropriate product information to other users, and keep a correction with its product entry.

The licence for an uploaded photo ends when we delete that photo after account deletion, subject to limited backup/recovery and legal-retention periods described in the Privacy Policy. Product facts extracted from a submission, such as ingredients and nutrition values, can remain in the shared catalogue without your photo or direct account attribution. Internal product-history and variation identifiers derived from your account ID may remain; we do not promise that these identifiers are anonymous. This licence does not waive your data-protection rights. See the Account deletion page.

We may remove or restrict submissions that appear unlawful, abusive, misleading, unrelated to a product or harmful to the service. Contact us if you believe content infringes your rights or needs removal.

Paid features

V7 Check may offer optional paid features, including V7 Check Pro subscriptions, through the App Store or Google Play. The store shows the available product, price, billing period, trial eligibility, renewal terms and cancellation instructions before you buy. Store terms and mandatory consumer rights apply to purchases.

Pro provides subscription access to barcode lookup under the allowance and features shown in the app before purchase. Any free allowance, usage limits and included features are those disclosed for the offering you select; do not assume unlimited scans or that every product will be found. A subscription does not guarantee complete product data or a safe result. We will not use these Terms to remove paid contractual entitlements or mandatory remedies without the notice, justification and options required by law.

Purchases renew only as described by the store unless you cancel them in your store account. You can restore eligible purchases and manage or cancel subscriptions through the store or the app's subscription settings. Deleting a V7 Check account does not cancel a store subscription or create a refund.

If an offer includes a trial, the offer must show its duration, the price and billing period after it ends, and how to cancel before being charged. Request store-purchase refunds through the relevant store, or contact us for help. Nothing here removes a statutory withdrawal, refund, price-reduction or other remedy. Any loss of a statutory withdrawal right for immediate digital supply requires the separate consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law; accepting these Terms alone is not that consent.

Service availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance or product updates. Where required by law, we will provide applicable notice and preserve mandatory consumer rights.

Disclaimer of warranties

V7 Check is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not promise that every product entry is complete, current, available in your region or suitable for you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, V7 Check and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business interruption resulting from use of (or inability to use) the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

In particular, these exclusions do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or statutory rights concerning defective digital content or services. For consumers, an exclusion applies only where it is lawful and fair under the law applicable to the contract. Warnings about product information do not remove responsibilities we have under mandatory law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete your account in the app under Settings > Account > Delete account. We may restrict or terminate access if these terms are violated or if needed for safety and legal compliance.

Where reasonably possible and lawful, we will explain a restriction and give you an opportunity to contact us about a mistake. Urgent security, safety or legal reasons may require action without advance notice. Termination does not remove any refund or other remedy required by law.

Applicable law and complaints

These Terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the law of your habitual residence that would otherwise apply. Nothing here requires you to bring a claim exclusively in Lithuania or removes a right to use courts available to you under applicable consumer law.

Send complaints to info@white-bear.co, describing the issue and the remedy you seek. We will consider the complaint and provide a reasoned response within the period required by applicable law. If it remains unresolved, you may contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) in Lithuania or a competent consumer-dispute body in your country. This does not restrict your right to go to court or contact an authority directly where the law allows it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law or our operations change. For a material change, the app will show the new version and ask you to agree before you continue using the authenticated service. The version and effective date above identify the Terms that apply.
